Who are we?

WIOMweb is an ongoing research project initiated by Blue Ventures Conservation, an award-winning UK-based organisation dedicated to marine conservation, education and sustainable development in tropical coastal communities.

 

What is WIOMweb?

The project was started to document the marine biodiversity of southwestern Madagascar, providing high quality species images for reference by students and researchers in the region. Following recent contributions from collaborators outside Madagascar, this reference resource is being developed to cover the wider western Indian Ocean region.
